Admissions and Cost
How to Apply
There are three ways to submit an application to Baylor University; through the Common App, ApplyTexas, or directly into Baylor's application system, goBaylor. The process and timing can look a little bit different depending on whether the applicant is an incoming freshman, international student, transfer student, or post-baccalaureate student, however, all applicants will need to activate a goBaylor account – those using the Common App or ApplyTexas will receive separate emailed instructions within 24-48 hours of submitting their application.
Once applicant's goBaylor account is activated, they will be asked to choose Aviation Sciences or Aviation Administration and will be directed to a separate application process for consideration into the program. Through goBAYLOR, students can create a profile and track the status of their application.
Be aware that the flight training program is set up for Fall starts for new students. A small number of students may be accepted for Spring starts if they are exceptional candidates who already have their Private Pilot's License.
Applicants intending to use Veteran's Administration educational benefits as an Aviation Sciences major should be aware that, because of the VA's rules, the GI Bill cannot be used to pay for costs associated with that major. There are no restrictions with the Aviation Administration major.

Flight training costs are in addition to Baylor's typical tuition and fees, however they are factored into the student's cost of attendance which is used to calculate financial aid at Baylor. Estimated flight training costs can be found in the links here.
