How to Apply
There are three ways to submit an application to Baylor University; through the Common App, ApplyTexas, or directly into Baylor's application system, goBAYLOR. The process and timing can look a little bit different depending on whether the applicant is an incoming freshman, international student, transfer student, or post-baccalaureate student, however, all applicants will need to activate a goBaylor account – those using the Common App or ApplyTexas will receive separate emailed instructions within 24-48 hours of submitting their application.
Once applicants’ goBAYLOR account is activated, they will be asked to choose Aviation Sciences or Aviation Administration and will be directed to a separate application process for consideration into the program. Through goBAYLOR, students can create a profile and track the status of their application.
The timeline for receiving a decision on your Aviation Sciences application is dependent upon how you apply, Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Admission, and also whether you apply as a Freshman or Transfer student. More information can be found on the Baylor Admissions website, here.
Applicants intending to use Veteran's Administration educational benefits as an Aviation Sciences major should be aware that, because of the VA's rules, the GI Bill cannot be used to pay for costs associated with that major. There are no restrictions with the Aviation Administration major.
Information on Baylor University's tuition and fees and the separate costs associated with flight training may vary slightly from year to year. Please select the appropriate link to review these costs:

Scholarships & Financial Aid
Flight training costs are in addition to Baylor's tuition and fees, however, they can be factored into an overall cost of attendance used to calculate financial aid at Baylor including grants, loans, and scholarships.
Scholarships do not need to be aviation-related to be applied toward the additional cost of flight training. In fact, many resources listed on the Undergraduate Admissions webpage can be used to help pay for a student's total cost of attendance.
Additionally, Baylor Institute for Air Science provides additional aviation-specific funding sources for which eligible applicants may apply on our webpage - Aviation Sciences Scholarships & Financial Aid.
