Airplane Flight Courses

FAA Part 141 Flight Courses

AVS 1331 - Private Pilot Flight: Flight training course that prepares students for the completion of the FAA private pilot certification process, including dual and solo flight in the areas of maneuvers and cross-country navigation. *Additional fees are charged for this course.

AVS 1332 - Instrument Flight: Flight training course designed to prepare students for completion of the FAA Instrument Pilot Rating with mastery of all instrument procedures. *Additional fees are charged for this course.

AVS 2333 - Commercial Flight I: The first of two flight training courses that combine to prepare students for FAA Commercial Pilot certification.  Course focuses on cross-country procedures and commercial maneuver and includes both solo and dual flight training to prepare student for mastery of all commercial pilot maneuvers. *Additional fees are charged for this course.

AVS 2334 - Commercial Flight II: The second of two flight training courses that combine to continue to prepare students for FAA Commercial Pilot certification. Course focuses on cross-country procedures and commercial maneuver and includes both solo and dual flight training to prepare student for mastery of all commercial pilot maneuvers. *Additional fees are charged for this course.

AVS 3235 - Multiengine Flight: Flight training course that prepares students for the multiengine rating which will be added to a current pilot certificate. Course includes explanation and demonstration of all required FAA normal and emergency operations and procedures. *Additional fees are charged for this course. This course can substitute for the AVS 4237 - Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument.

AVS 3236 - Certified Flight Instructor - Airplane: Flight training course necessary for students to qualify for the FAA Certified Flight Instructor - Airplane Certificate. Topics include ground and flight instruction. *Additional fees are charged for this course.

AVS 4237 - Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument: Flight training course necessary for students to qualify for the FAA Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument Certificate. Topics include ground and flight instruction. *Additional fees are charged for this course. This course can be substituted with the Multi-Engine Flight Course (AVS 3235)

AVS 4238 - Multi-Engine Flight Instructor: Flight training course necessary for students to qualify for the FAA Certified Multi-Engine Flight Instructor Certificate. Topics include ground and flight instruction. *Additional fees are charged for this course.
